Job summary

Delmar Private Hospital in Dee Why, NSW, seeks a Full-Time Permanent Senior Physiotherapist/Exercise Physiologist to lead inpatient rehab and support the MDT. You will assess, devise evidence-based interventions and exercise prescriptions for diverse conditions, and contribute to rostering, staff training and quality projects.

You will participate in weekly MDT meetings, supervise junior staff and Allied Health Assistants, and collaborate with families and community teams to optimise patient

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent with registration (Physiotherapy).
• ESSA registration for Exercise Physiology holders.
• Minimum 5 years in rehab with MDT framework and 2 supervisory roles.
• Eligible visa/working rights and National Police Check.
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead inpatient physiotherapy/EP team and MDT meetings.
• Provide assessments and evidence-based interventions and exercise prescriptions.
• Assist with rostering, interviewing and staff training.
• Supervise junior staff and Allied Health Assistants.
• Collaborate with families and community services for discharge planning.
