The role focuses on PHP development with Laravel, building secure, scalable code, and collaborating with product managers and engineers to scope and deploy new features. A strong emphasis on learning and teamwork in a dynamic environment is evident.

Qualifications

• Three+ years' experience in PHP development.
• Strong PHP knowledge and MVC pattern.
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, and Phalcon.
• Knows their way around a command line and has an understanding of Linux environments.
• Good understanding of relational databases using MySQL/MariaDB and designing database schemas.
• Experience integrating external API providers into existing projects.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub version control.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow established processes.
• Adherence to PER Coding Style guidelines.
• Attention to detail and thorough testing to ensure high quality handovers.
• Avoids ego-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Build secure, reliable, scalable PHP code across platforms.
• Work with Laravel 12, PHP 8.4 on core systems.
• Maintain and improve billing, CRM, and domain platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scope, test, and deploy features.
• Tackle complex integration scenarios with external providers.
• Continuously learn and adapt.
