Job summary

Nexigen Digital is seeking a Software Engineer to join a close, agile team on internal and customer-facing systems. You will build secure, scalable PHP code and contribute across projects.

The role requires 3+ years of PHP development, strong MVC knowledge, and experience with Laravel/Symfony/Phalcon in Linux environments. You’ll work on billing/CRM platforms and API integrations while collaborating with product managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of PHP development experience or equivalent
• Strong understanding of PHP and MVC patterns
• Experience with PHP frameworks: Laravel, Symfony, Phalcon
• Comfort with Linux environments and command line
• Relational DB design with MySQL/MariaDB
• Experience integrating external APIs and providers
• Git and GitHub experience and version control
• Ability to collaborate in a team and follow coding standards
• Attention to detail and thorough testing before handover
• No ego-driven development approach

Responsibilities

• Build secure, scalable PHP applications across platforms
• Work with Laravel 12 and PHP 8.4 technologies
• Maintain and improve billing, CRM, and domain platforms
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scope, test and deploy features
• Tackle complex external API integrations
• Continuously learn and apply new skills
