Tata Consultancy Services Australia is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to design, implement and run performance tests across multi-project environments. You will build scripts in Gatling/JMeter, monitor with Dynatrace and AppDynamics, and collaborate with developers and BAs to validate non-functional requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on scripting in Python, CI/CD integration, and delivering clear performance reports with risk assessments.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Gatling and/or JMeter.
• Strong experience with APM and monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
• Strong scripting skills in Python.
• Experience analysing performance metrics (response times, throughput).
• Experience identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks across layers.
• Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and execute performance test strategies and test plans.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Gatling and JMeter.
• Analyse application, infrastructure, and database performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor system behaviour using APM tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
• Investigate performance issues and provide tuning recommendations.
• Create automated performance testing solutions and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop utility scripts and automation using Python and Shell Scripting.
• Produce performance test reports with clear recommendations and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Test Teams to ensure performance requirements are understood and validated.
• Support performance testing activities across multiple projects and environments.
