Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care in Sydney is seeking an EL1 Performance Reporting Manager to lead corporate and performance reporting, develop strategic briefs and oversee governance reporting. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and experience in government reporting frameworks.

You will manage reporting calendars, coordinate major reports such as the corporate plan and PBS, and provide executive advice on performance trends and risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate planning and organisational performance reporting.
• Knowledge of governance and reporting requirements for government entities.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for varied audiences.
• Ability to provide strategic advice to senior management on issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development of corporate reports including corporate plan, annual report and PBS.
• Manage the reporting calendar and ensure timely submission of statutory and governance reports.
• Develop briefs for the Board, Audit and Risk Committee and Executives and Parliament.
• Oversee the performance reporting function and integrate project reporting information.
• Monitor progress against strategic priorities and PBS measures; advise on risks and mitigation.
• Maintain and improve reporting frameworks, processes, and governance arrangements.
• Provide strategic advice on organisational performance and reporting obligations.
• Liaise with Commonwealth entities and senior stakeholders; represent the Commission at meetings.
• Supervise the Business Unit’s Performance Reporting Officer.
• Other relevant duties as required.
