Job summary

UGL seeks an experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner to support the Projects Division across Energy, Transmission, Utilities and Major Infrastructure Projects in Australia. You will advise project leaders, manage ER/IR matters, and lead workforce planning, change management and stakeholder engagement in a complex, geographically dispersed environment.

You will travel to regional locations as required and partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Remuneration to

Qualifications

Significant experience as a Senior HR Generalist or Senior People & Culture Business Partner.
Experience supporting large‑scale projects in construction, engineering, infrastructure, utilities, energy, resources or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, employee relations and IR frameworks.

Responsibilities

Partner with project and operational leaders to deliver strategic and operational People & Culture initiatives.
Provide expert ER/IR advice on investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, performance management and dispute resolution.
Support project mobilisation, workforce planning and resource requirements across energy, transmission, utilities and major projects.
Coach leaders on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, modern awards and workplace obligations.
Drive retention, engagement and talent management to support project delivery.
