Hudson is partnering with a defence and technology leader to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer in Canberra. You will manage end-to-end payroll for a large, diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery while advising HR and line managers.

You will interpret awards and enterprise agreements, support payroll reporting and audits, and drive process improvements within a collaborative payroll team. This 12-month contract offers stability with extension potential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large, diverse workforce.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience with multiple payroll systems (ADP GlobalView, SAP, Kronos, Workday).
• Ability to interpret awards and enterprise agreements.
• Clear, proactive communication with employees and managers.

Responsabilités

• Process payroll end-to-end accurately and on time.
• Provide payroll advice to employees and stakeholders.
• Support HR and Finance with payroll reporting and audits.
• Assist with system maintenance and process improvements.
• Maintain relationships across HR, Finance, and business units.
