Job summary

Enaex Australia is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our People team in Brisbane. You will deliver accurate, timely payroll for up to 500 employees across multiple sites, handling weekly and monthly cycles, while ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and enterprise agreements.

You will drive system improvements, manage transactions (new starters, changes, leave, deductions, terminations, back payments) and maintain master data in MicrOpay/ConnX with advanced

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years' end-to-end payroll experience in a multi-site or complex environment.
• Experience delivering weekly and monthly payrolls for salaried and wage staff across multiple agreements.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation including STP, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and compliance.
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment contracts.
• Advanced Excel skills for payroll data reconciliation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll for up to 500 employees across sites.
• Process payroll transactions: new starters, changes, leave, allowances, deductions, terminations, back payments.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with legislation, agreements, contracts and policies.
• Complete reconciliations, control checks, reporting, journals and audits.
• Maintain payroll systems, master data and configuration; drive process improvements.
