Job summary

Mitolo Family Farms in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage weekly payroll, ensure accurate data, and drive compliant processes across the business. You will work with People and Culture, Finance and Operations teams to maintain data integrity and support efficient payroll delivery.

You will bring significant payroll experience in a multi-entity or high-volume setting, a solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, and proficiency with Chris21 and Kronos.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing of weekly payroll.
• Maintaining payroll systems and data integrity.
• Managing payroll compliance and reporting (PAYG, superannuation, WorkCover).
• Responding to employee enquiries with clear, timely advice.
• Identifying opportunities for payroll system and process improvements.
• Maintaining payroll documentation and supporting audits.
