Job summary

South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) seeks a Senior Technical Advisor to lead the medical rostering and payroll reform program within the Payroll Reform Team. The role partners with SA Health and Shared Services SA to design, configure, and deliver a cloud-based rostering solution that improves payroll accuracy and enterprise interpretation outcomes.

• Significant experience interpreting and applying awards, enterprise agreements and industrial instruments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll policy and legislation in complex environments.
• Experience with payroll system configurations and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of medical rostering and payroll reform initiatives.
• Provide expert advice on awards, enterprise agreements and legislation.
• Translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions.
• Analyse payroll configurations and calculations for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify emerging payroll issues and implement preventative improvements.
