Job summary

CHC Helicopters Australia is seeking a Payroll Officer in West Perth, WA to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across the Australian business. Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you will manage payroll transactions, maintain records, and support payroll compliance.

The role requires experience with complex payroll environments, Enterprise Agreements, roster-based workforces, and legislation. You will work with Finance, HR and operations to deliver payroll services with high accuracy and

Qualifications

• Degree/qualification in payroll, bookkeeping or finance.
• 3–5 years payroll experience in a medium-to-large organization.
• Experience with multi-union agreements is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll taxation and superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Payroll Lead in accurate and timely processing of fortnightly and ad-hoc out-of-cycle payrolls.
• Process payroll transactions including allowances, overtime, leave payments and reimbursements.
• Apply payroll provisions within Enterprise Agreements, Awards and contracts according to processes.
• Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
