Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll for about 3,000 employees across Australia from our National Support Centre in Nundah. The role is full-time, with a salary up to $160K plus Super and a hybrid working arrangement.

You will oversee fortnightly payroll, mentor a payroll team of four, ensure compliance with Modern Awards, EBAs and Australian payroll legislation, and drive improvements across payroll systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing high-volume payroll in a large or multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, EBAs.
• Experience leading and developing a payroll team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fortnightly payroll for ~3,000 employees nationally.
• Lead, mentor and develop the payroll team.
• Ensure compliance with awards, EBAs and payroll regulations.
• Review payments, resolve complex issues and manage audits.
• Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements.
