Outapay, an Australian payroll services provider, seeks a Senior Payroll & Client Operations Specialist to own payroll operations, manage client relationships, and ensure service excellence across Australian clients.

You will lead end-to-end payroll processing, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational improvements while serving as the primary client contact. This role offers ownership and growth within a supportive team focused on delivering accurate, timely payroll services.

Qualifications

• Experience in Australian payroll or payroll outsourcing.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience serving Australian clients and managing payroll for multiple customers.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Australian payroll processing for multiple clients.
• Act as primary relationship manager for payroll clients.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
• Interpret Australian payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, taxation, leave, and Fair Work rules.
• Oversee payroll onboarding for new clients.
• Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations and invoicing.
• Resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and service quality.
• Develop and maintain payroll documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Support business growth by improving client experience.
