Job summary

SwanCare Group is seeking a Payroll Adviser to own end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 700+ employees in Western Australia. You will manage off-cycle payments, allowances and employee changes, responding to queries with accurate, timely advice.

You will ensure payroll practices meet Fair Work requirements, interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and contribute to continuous improvement as systems evolve.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll end-to-end, ideally in aged care or similar.
• Strong understanding of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work Act.
• Experience with payroll systems (Chris21/Pay Metrics) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 700+ employees and ensure accurate, on-time processing.
• Manage off-cycle payments, allowances and employee changes; respond to payroll queries.
• Provide practical payroll advice to employees and managers; support audits and reporting.
