National Australia Bank in Sydney is seeking a Senior Consultant, Partnerships to shape and manage market-leading partnerships that enhance customer value and drive commercial outcomes. You will lead cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Risk and Digital teams to deliver compelling customer experiences.

You will source opportunities, build business cases with ROI models and negotiate deals that create mutual value for customers, partners and NAB.

Qualifications

• Experience in partnerships, business development or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage strategic commercial partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen with ROI modelling and value propositions.
• Ability to structure partnership agreements delivering mutual value.
• Excellent stakeholder management across internal and external groups.
• Influence across Product, Digital, Marketing, Risk, Operations and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and prioritise partnership opportunities across key consumer spend categories.
• Develop and execute partnership strategies aligned to business objectives and customer outcomes.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including deal structures and value exchange models.
• Build robust business cases with ROI modelling and value attribution.
• Act as the primary relationship manager between NAB and key external partners.
• Manage a portfolio of partnerships with regular performance reviews and optimization.
• Identify opportunities to improve partnership performance and address value leakage.
• Support development of NAB's partnership framework and strategic roadmap.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Procurement and Technology for onboarding and governance.
• Negotiate merchant-funded offers and manage partnership investment.
• Assist offer design and proposition development to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Monitor market trends to inform strategy and growth.
