Reo Group is partnering with a well-regarded Sydney law practice to recruit a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal for their NSW workers compensation team. You will manage a portfolio of matters and progress files under solicitor supervision while liaising with clients and practitioners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in personal injury law with solid NSW workers compensation exposure.
• Demonstrated experience managing workers compensation matters and PIC proceedings.
• Sound knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and the claims pathway.
• Strong drafting skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, prioritise deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Client-focused and empathetic, with professional client communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of NSW workers compensation matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Draft correspondence, expert instructions, PIC applications, submissions, statements, and supporting documentation.
• Review medical records, clinical notes, liability material, and expert reports.
• Progress statutory benefit disputes and permanent impairment claims.
• Liaise with clients, treating practitioners, medico-legal experts, and relevant third parties in a professional manner.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients with clear, timely updates.
