Job summary

Connected People partners with an established plaintiff law firm in Parramatta to recruit a Paralegal for its Workers Compensation team. You’ll support NSW workers compensation matters under solicitor supervision, progressing files and drafting documents while keeping clients informed.

The role emphasises ownership of files, collaboration with experienced lawyers, and a supportive environment with flexible options based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ personal injury/worker's compensation secretarial experience.
• Ability to manage own workload and liaise with clients confidently.
• Comfortable working with lawyers, doctors, and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Progress files from instruction through to resolution.
• Draft correspondence, statements and PI Commission applications.
• Gather and review medical and supporting documents.
• Assist with disputes, permanent impairment claims and IRO funding.
• Keep clients informed and liaise with medical professionals and insurers.
