Job summary

Reo Group, in collaboration with a respected Sydney law practice, is recruiting a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal for its NSW workers' compensation team. You will manage a portfolio of matters from instruction to resolution under solicitor supervision, building experience within a supportive, well-structured firm.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of personal injury/paralegal experience in NSW workers' comp, strong drafting and client communication, and the ability to handle a busy caseload

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in personal injury law with solid NSW workers compensation exposure.
• Demonstrated experience managing workers compensation matters and PIC proceedings.
• Strong drafting skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, prioritise deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of NSW workers compensation matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Draft correspondence, expert instructions, PIC applications, submissions, statements, and supporting documentation.
• Review medical records, clinical notes, liability material, and expert reports.
• Progress statutory benefit disputes and permanent impairment claims.
• Liaise with clients, treating practitioners, medico-legal experts, and relevant third parties.
