Job summary

Far West Local Health District is seeking a Dietitian Level 3 for a Temporary Full Time position based in Broken Hill, NSW.

The role provides specialist Dietetic assessment and clinical support to paediatric and antenatal clients within the First 2000 Days MDT, delivering patient-centred care and contributing to rural health services.

Qualifications

• Dietitian Level 3 classification within NSW Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide Dietetic assessment and clinical support as part of the First 2000 Days team.
• Deliver patient-centred care to paediatric and antenatal clients and their families.

Job description

This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro‑rated to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (until 30 June 2027)

Position Classification: Dietitian Level 3

Remuneration: $121,568 - $125,507 + Superannuation

Hours Per Week: 38

What You’ll Be Doing

The Dietitian will provide specialist Dietetic assessment, intervention and clinical support as part of the First 2000 Days multidisciplinary team, delivering patient‑centred care to paediatric and Antenatal clients and their families.
