Job summary

Far West Local Health District in Broken Hill is seeking a Health Manager Level 1 to provide high-level administrative support to the Clinical Governance Unit, enabling effective leadership and governance across the district.

This permanent full-time role offers a generous remuneration and a pathway to NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentives, plus opportunities for professional development and a balanced rural lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad range of high-level administrative services to the Clinical Governance Unit to support leadership and governance at Far West LHD.
• Support coordination and execution of governance processes and committees, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Job description

This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role will provide a broad range of superior level administrative services to the Clinical Governance Unit at Far West Local Health District to enable and support effective and efficient leadership and governance of Far West LHD.
