The Senior People & Capability Business Partner role at a respected Australian university offers a strategic advisory position to executive and senior leaders, translating priorities into workforce, capability and culture outcomes. You’ll shape workforce planning, design, transformation and leadership capability to address complex people matters.

With hybrid and flexible working arrangements, you’ll influence workforce strategy at a national level and mentor the P&C team across governance

Qualifications

• Relevant HR qualification with extensive generalist experience across ER/IR, workforce planning, organisational design and complex people matters.
• Proven experience partnering with executive and senior leaders on strategic people, workforce and organisational matters.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale change, transformation and organisational design initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive and senior leaders to deliver strategic people and workforce solutions.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design, transformation, talent and capability initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor on complex, sensitive and high-risk people matters.
• Use workforce insights and data to identify emerging trends, risks and talent needs, ensuring solutions align with legislation, enterprise agreements and governance frameworks.
• Coach and mentor P&C team members, strengthening capability and consistency across the function.
