Job summary

Built is seeking a Senior People and Culture Digital & Insights Specialist in Sydney to turn people data into trusted reporting and practical insights. You will lead analytics initiatives across HR systems and digital solutions, partnering with People & Culture, IT and Data teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working with HR data and understanding HR systems, processes and reporting.
• Data analytics background, ideally in a large or complex organisation.
• Advanced Power BI and Excel capabilities including dashboard development and data modelling.
• Experience troubleshooting or improving HRIS workflows, data and integrations.
• Exposure to remuneration analytics, system implementations, data governance, automation or process optimisation.
• Strong stakeholder skills across P&C, technology and data teams.

The Opportunity

As our Senior People and Culture Digital & Insights Specialist, you'll turn people data and business requirements into trusted reporting, practical insights and better digital solutions. Working closely with People & Culture, IT and Digital & Data, you'll operate across detailed analysis and broader improvement initiatives.

You will:

• Lead and optimise Power BI dashboards, reporting products and workforce insights to support informed decision making.
• Strengthen people data quality, governance and reporting standards, ensuring trusted and consistent workforce information.
• Act as a senior point of contact for people systems, workflows and integrations, supporting issue resolution, enhancements and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to People & Culture process optimisation initiatives that enhance digital capabilities and support future ways of working.
• Support key annual people processes through effective system, data and reporting readiness.

What We Are Looking For

You're analytical and detail oriented but can also step back and connect your work to the bigger picture. You understand how people data moves through HR systems and know how to translate technical detail into useful insights and practical improvements.

You will bring:

• Experience working with HR or people data and a strong understanding of how HR systems, processes and reporting operate.
• A data analytics background, ideally developed within a large or complex organisation.
• Advanced Power BI and Excel capability, including dashboard development, data modelling, visualisation and reporting.
• Experience troubleshooting, maintaining or improving a HRIS and its associated workflows, data and integrations.
• Exposure to remuneration analytics, system implementations, data governance, automation or process optimisation.
• Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to work effectively across P&C, technology and data teams.
