Job summary

The University of Adelaide, based in College Services - Science at the City East Campus, invites applications for a full-time, continuing HEO6 role to provide proactive high-level executive support to senior leaders.

You will manage diaries, meetings, travel and events, draft correspondence and reports, maintain confidential records, and coordinate stakeholder engagement to advance the College of Science's contributions to education, research and the wider community.

Qualifications

  • Proven high-level executive or administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Experience managing diaries, meetings and travel.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Drafting/editing correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with financial processes and procurement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building across teams.
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing priorities.

Full-time, continuing position

HEO6 $94,269 - $101,828 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

The team

Reporting to the Senior Executive Officer, you will join the College Executive Services team within the College of Science. Working closely with the Pro Vice Chancellor, Executive Director and key stakeholders, your ability to anticipate requirements and coordinate key activities will help enable the effective operation of the College.

Experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive or administrative support to a senior executive in a complex organisation
  • Experience managing diaries, meetings, travel and events for senior leaders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in drafting and editing correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Experience maintaining confidential records, handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism and using digital information systems
  • Experience supporting financial processes and procurement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and adapt to changing circumstances
