Job summary

IKON is seeking an experienced full-time Operations Manager to oversee cleaning operations based at Mascot with travel to NSW sites and occasional Canberra travel. You will develop your team, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance and safety.

Lead a high-performing team, foster collaboration, and maintain strong client relationships while meeting contract specifications and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills with the ability to drive teams
• Experience in senior operations or leadership roles in facilities management or cleaning
• Proven client relationship management experience
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and risk management frameworks
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring service delivery excellence, efficiency, and adherence to contract specifications
• Provide practical, hands on support onsite daily
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's national objectives
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance service delivery
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure your team is equipped to meet business objectives
• Manage supervisors to ensure staff are performing to agreed requirements and provide direct supervision to staff in the absence of supervisors
• Serve as a point of contact for major clients, maintaining strong, trusted relationships
• Actively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, ensuring service excellence and retention
• Ensure all operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
