Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead operations, business development, and delivery of a multibillion-dollar infrastructure program in Central Queensland.

Based in or willing to travel across Queensland, you will oversee production, estimating, and project engineering, coordinate Project Managers and engineers, and drive commercial, safety, quality, and operational outcomes while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Senior operational management experience in civil construction, asphalt, pavements, or road infrastructure.
• Proven track record in securing new work.
• Strong commercial, project, and financial management skills.
• Excellent client relationships and stakeholder management.
• Experienced in leading teams and coordinating resources across multiple business units.
• Willingness to travel across Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across pavements and asphalt market.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead the planning and delivery strategy for secured work.
• Oversee the Gladstone production operation, including production, estimating, and project engineering functions.
• Coordinate Project Managers, Project Engineers, and operational resources to deliver projects successfully.
• Drive strong commercial, safety, quality, and operational outcomes.
• Maintain a strong presence across the Queensland coast, traveling as required to meet with clients and operational teams.
