Job summary

Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is seeking an Operations Manager for the Glendenning site in Sydney. You will ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations, meeting production targets while driving profitability and continuous improvement.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage P&L drivers, and partner with Sales to maximise revenue opportunities. This role demands strong financial acumen and a proactive leadership style within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing a full P&L or significant operational budget.

Responsibilities

• Take full P&L responsibility for the Glendenning operation.
• Lead daily site performance across production, logistics, scheduling and service.
• Set and deliver production, volume, service, cost and financial targets.
• Mentor operations team and drive a high‑performing culture.
• Identify process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Lead maintenance planning and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to grow profitable volume.
• Monitor inventory and working capital to reduce waste.
• Drive safety-first culture and compliance.
