Senior OT Engineer at Alinta Energy is responsible for protecting and enhancing OT systems across our power generation assets, including PLCs, SCADA, OT networks and cybersecurity to strengthen reliability and resilience.

You will collaborate with site operations, engineering, technology and cybersecurity teams to solve complex technical challenges and deliver strategic OT programs, driving improvements and practical outcomes in a high-visibility role.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electrical, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in Operational Technology, Control Systems or Industrial Automation within power generation, utilities, mining, manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial networks and control system architectures.
• Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles, network security and critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical outcomes and build trusted working relationships.

Join Alinta Energy as a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Engineer and play a key role in protecting and enhancing the technology that underpins our power generation assets. What you'll do

Your experience
