NSW Health’s Blacktown Hospital is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to provide specialist support across oncology clinical trials and cancer treatment services. You will help ensure medicines are prepared, managed and supplied safely and accurately in a high-volume environment.

You will supervise staff, contribute to quality improvement and work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care, including participation in sterile manufacturing when required.

Competenze

• Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 – Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support OR equivalent.

Mansioni

• Support cancer clinical trials, including drug distribution, inventory management and trial-related pharmacy activities.
• Undertake chemotherapy reconstitution, dispensing and production activities in accordance with established procedures.
• Deliver timely, accurate and patient-focused pharmacy services across cancer care and other pharmacy areas as required.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, support staff and students, contributing to a capable and collaborative team.
• Contribute to quality improvement, performance monitoring and compliance with legislation, policies and medication safety requirements.
