SESLHD in Randwick, Sydney seeks a Lead Pharmacy Technician - Production to work with the Lead Pharmacist and Specialist Pharmacist to provide a high quality, safe and efficient service for the preparation of pharmaceutical and advanced therapeutic products.

You will supervise, educate and train staff in compounding and QA practices, and support continuous quality improvement within the pharmacy department, contributing to a multidisciplinary team across cancer care services.

Qualificações

• Nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course at Certificate Level IV or equivalent.
• Experience with complex tasks under supervision in areas such as cytotoxic drug reconstitution, sterile production or clinical trials.
• Proficiency with hospital pharmacy computer systems (e.g., iPharmacy), electronic medical records and clinical applications.
• Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team with initiative.
• Involvement in quality improvement activities and writing safe work practices.
• Experience supervising, coordinating and training staff.
