Job summary

SKS Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical & Communications Technician to join our site-based maintenance team supporting a Melbourne client. This role suits a tradesperson who wants a stable, hands-on position close to the client site.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance, respond to reactive requests, diagnose faults and ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical infrastructure and building services. A current Victorian A-Grade Licence and EWP ticket are required.

Qualifications

A hands-on electrical tradesperson with fault finding and maintenance experience.
Experience with electrical infrastructure and building services.
Demonstrated safety-conscious maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Respond to reactive maintenance requests and diagnose faults.
Perform planned preventative maintenance per client programme.
Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure (lighting, switchboards, LV, UPS).
Undertake minor repairs within your competency.
Provide fault diagnosis across mechanical, hydraulic, fire, CCTV, security and access control.
Coordinate with specialist contractors when required.
Monitor equipment condition and report hazards and maintenance risks.
Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
Participate in inductions, toolbox talks and on-call roster.
