Job summary

ProFound People in Sydney is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own the physical and network layer the business runs on, including on-prem compute, storage, and the fabric that ties it all together. You will rack and commission hardware end-to-end, run Kubernetes on owned hardware, implement infrastructure as code, and design networks across L2/L3 with VLANs, routing, and firewall policies.

4+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience with bare-metal deployments.
Proficiency in L2/L3 networking, VLANs, routing, firewall policies.
Strong experience with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code.
Kubernetes on owned hardware experience.

Responsibilities

Design and run network engineering across L2/L3, VLANs, routing, and firewall policy.
Rack and commission physical hardware end to end, then automate provisioning through code.
Operate production Kubernetes on owned hardware.
Advance infrastructure as code in the buildout process.
Support multi-site builds including remote or air-gapped locations.
