Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to advance hardware reliability for satellite systems. The role focuses on design-for-reliability, rigorous testing, and on-orbit data analysis to boost robustness in harsh space environments.

You will lead reliability testing, participate in design reviews, and conduct root-cause investigations, with travel as needed to supplier processes and manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical/Materials/Reliability/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hardware reliability engineering experience, preferably in satellite/space applications.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methods, and tools.
• Familiarity with electronics (PCBs, PCBAs, electronic components) and moving mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability test plans for satellite hardware components.
• Perform stress screening and environmental testing; drive failure analysis to meet targets.
• Collaborate with design engineers to implement design-for-reliability practices and review designs.
