Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and a current practising certificate.
• At least five years’ professional experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience leading clinical or community-based services, teams and change initiatives.
• Knowledge of public and private health systems and programs such as the NDIS, My Aged Care, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Carer Gateway.
• Highly developed leadership, communication, coaching, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to undertake relevant background checks, travel and occasional out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise nursing teams.
• Ensure services are safe, evidence-based and client-focused.
• Manage workforce capacity, service targets, budgets and operational performance.
• Strengthen clinical governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Develop new services, clinical initiatives and educational resources.
• Build partnerships with healthcare professionals, community organisations and other stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Improve the client journey and expand services in response to community needs.
