Job summary

The Hospital Research Foundation Group in Adelaide is seeking a Clinical Governance Coordinator to strengthen clinical governance, quality and safety systems across Client and Patient Services within the Health Programs team.

You will provide oversight, embed robust governance processes, lead audits and education initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive continuous improvement while meeting accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency where applicable.
• Experience in clinical quality or governance or a related role.
• Experience contributing to quality improvement initiatives and accreditation preparation.
• Knowledge of NSQHS Standards, codes, ethics and competency standards.
• Knowledge of relevant programs such as NDIS and My Aged Care.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and technology skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
• Commitment to client safety and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the clinical governance framework and safety systems within Client and Patient Services.
• Provide guidance, oversight and hands-on support to embed governance processes.
• Lead quality audits and translate findings into practical actions.
• Develop and report on quality, safety and accreditation metrics for leadership.
• Coordinate clinical education and training to meet workforce and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to integrate governance into service delivery.
• Monitor compliance with policies, guidelines and accreditation standards.
• Analyze data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across health programs.
