Job summary

• Current Class C Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead an integrated team of professional care staff.
• Acknowledge and develop a positive relationship with each resident and their family, respecting dignity and privacy.
• Empower residents to make informed choices in relation to daily routines.
• Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical care in consultation with residents and/or their representatives and appropriate team members.
• Provide best practice clinical care tailored to meet resident needs.
• Produce accurate, comprehensive and timely documentation of resident care needs (care plans, medication charts, etc.).
• Communicate courteously with all stakeholders.
• Lead staff in a multidisciplinary environment; promote excellence in care.
• Comply with reporting requirements for Quality Indicators, Accreditation, Internal Audits, and other reports.
• Document and follow up all incidents and concerns.
• Implement emergency infection control procedures when required.
• Maintain commitment to continuous improvement.
• Comply with Council policies and code of conduct; promote professional image.
