Tech Mahindra in Sydney seeks a software engineer to deliver enhancements, automation, and integrations across the development lifecycle, leveraging modern software engineering practices, DevOps, and AI-assisted development tools to boost platform capabilities and delivery velocity.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain APIs and integrations, implement CI/CD pipelines, review code, troubleshoot production issues, and apply AI-powered capabilities to improve efficiency and reliability

Qualificações

• Strong software development experience across multiple languages (Python, Perl, Golang, Java, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, branching, PRs and code reviews.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery, DevOps practices and software engineering principles.
• Experience troubleshooting production applications, integrations, APIs and distributed systems; familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience developing, integrating, or consuming AI/ML services and APIs is desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, REST APIs, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6 and system integration patterns.
• Experience with SQL and MySQL database administration, management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software components, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions supporting ACS platforms and related systems.
• Develop software tools and automation frameworks for provisioning, diagnostics, firmware management, monitoring, and workflows; configure provisioning workflows and orchestration processes.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment using Git-based workflows; perform code reviews and manage releases.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, cases, and automated suites for functional, integration, regression, performance and security testing.
• Validate TR-069 provisioning and TR-143 performance testing workflows.
• Support firmware upgrade, rollback, whitelist, and manifest-based deployment processes across devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, integration issues, production incidents, and performance problems.
• Analyse logs, metrics, and telemetry to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and Generative AI technologies to accelerate development, testing, and operational efficiency.
