Job summary

Infosys in Australia seeks a seasoned TechOps Network Engineer (L4) to lead escalation, design, and reliability for enterprise networks. You will collaborate with L2/L3 teams, coordinate with vendors, and ensure SLAs are met during major incidents.

The role requires CCIE or equivalent, 15+ years in network/security engineering, strong customer-facing skills, and ITIL familiarity. Flexible hybrid work across AU with focus on major network platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive enterprise network, infrastructure, and security engineering.
• At least 10 years in customer-facing technical support roles (NOC/managed services).

Responsibilities

• Act as the final technical escalation point (Level 4) for major incidents and high-risk changes.
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders for swift resolutions.
• Lead root-cause analysis and define permanent corrective actions.
• Build and validate High-Level Designs (HLDs) based on requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors to manage escalations and ensure timely resolutions.
• Mentor L2/L3 engineers and ensure adherence to ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Represent Infosys in CAB meetings and maintain service continuity.
