Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Network Operations Specialist in Sydney, NSW, Australia. You will oversee operational performance, availability, and scalability of enterprise network systems across data centers, branches, cloud, and remote users.

You will mentor junior staff, guide architectural decisions, and participate in continuous improvement of network operations while ensuring secure, reliable delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex LAN/WAN environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
• Experience guiding junior team members and providing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complex LAN/WAN environments (routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless).
• Escalate and perform root cause analyses for high-severity incidents.
• Lead deployment and optimization of enterprise network monitoring tools.
• Enforce network security practices with cybersecurity/compliance teams.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, firmware upgrades, and migrations.
• Contribute to network design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Document SOPs and mentor junior staff in standard procedures.
• Support ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation or provide senior oversight during cr
