Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment seeks a Technical Lead (Network Infrastructure) in Sydney to lead a small team of engineers and own end-to-end delivery of complex network initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with architects, PMs, vendors and stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient infrastructure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Cisco networking experience across LAN and WAN environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Centre and enterprise networking platforms.
• Expertise in F5 technologies (LTM, GTM and BIG-IQ).
• Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and influence technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of network infrastructure projects and initiative.
• Manage and mentor a team of network engineers.
• Take end-to-end ownership of project deliverables and outcomes.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex networking and security issues.
• Work closely with architects, project managers, vendors and business stakeholders.
• Influence technical decisions and infrastructure roadmaps.
• Analyse network performance and security data, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Support infrastructure security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Produce technical documentation, reports and automation scripts.
• Participate in incident response and major issue resolution activities.
• Drive engineering best practices and knowledge sharing across the team.
