Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer in Melbourne to maintain and improve enterprise networks, servers, storage and backup technologies in a highly regulated environment. The role involves ensuring security, resilience and performance while tackling complex technical challenges across multiple domains.

The ideal candidate will hold a Baseline security clearance or higher and bring strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, and Azure cloud

Qualifications

• Baseline security clearance or higher (required).
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and data centre concepts.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and enterprise network security.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers and Azure cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across network, server, storage, backup and virtualization platforms.
• Configure, administer and optimize Cisco networks (ISE, NDFC, Nexus, Leaf-Spine, VXLAN, SD-WAN).
• Manage secure network services including Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and remote connectivity.
• Administer F5 BIG-IP and Azure cloud networking.
• Support Windows, Linux and VMware environments with high availability and security.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues across domains.
• Perform upgrades, patching, monitoring, lifecycle management and capacity planning.
• Support backup, disaster recovery testing and resilience initiatives.
• Contribute to incident, problem and change management processes.
