Job summary

The Network seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, high-performing enterprise network infrastructure for a major Federal Government department. You will work across complex on-premises and cloud networking environments, collaborating with infrastructure, architecture and cybersecurity teams to enhance performance, security and reliability.

Qualifications

Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
Experience with on-premises and cloud networking environments.
Ability to develop technical requirements for RFQs and provide value-for-money recommendations.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, data centre and cloud network infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and load balancers.
Monitor network performance, resolve complex issues and implement network security improvements.
Develop technical requirements for RFQs, assess proposed solutions and provide technical and value-for-money recommendations.
