Job summary

Optus is seeking a Senior Network Engineer – Sensitive Customer to deliver Level 1 operational coverage and end-to-end incident management for sensitive services. You will own fault restoration and ensure KPI targets are met, coordinating with multiple teams and partners.

You will work with Government and Emergency Services on authorised requests, drive service improvements, and participate in a 24x7 on-site shift roster at the Sydney Campus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Voice and Red Hat Enterprise Linux technologies in a telecom environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 operational coverage and support for sensitive customer incidents.
• Own end-to-end restoration of network faults and incidents to meet KPIs.
• Escalate and coordinate with Tier 1/2, field services, and third parties.
• Liaise with Government and Emergency Services on authorised requests.
• Identify service improvements and maintain operational documentation.
• Participate in a 24x7 shift roster onsite at the Optus Sydney Campus.
