Job summary

The Federal Government Organisation in Sydney CBD is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead FortiSASE implementation, migrate secure gateway, and support Azure integration during a 9-month contract.

You will work with internal infrastructure teams and partners to deliver a modern secure access platform across branch and data centre environments, with hands-on delivery and escalation of complex issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering SASE solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience with FortiGate firewalls and FortiSASE is required.
• Experience with F5 load balancers and data centre networking.
• Ability to work in a highly delivery-focused role on complex projects.
• Experience in federal government, financial services, or regulated environments is valued.

• Lead the hands-on implementation of FortiSASE across enterprise environments

• Implement high availability and resilient network designs

A leading Federal government organisation based in Sydney CBD is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with SASE Implementation experience for a secure gateway migration. This is a 9 month contract likely to extend.

This is a delivery-focused contract role suited to an engineer with proven experience building, implementing, and operationalising SASE solutions within complex enterprise environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in the execution phase of the project, working closely with internal infrastructure teams, implementation partners, and Fortinet to deliver a modern secure access platform across branch, data centre, and Azure environments.
