Job summary

Optus Enterprise is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join the GTAC Networks team in delivering high-quality managed network services for enterprise customers across Australia. You will resolve complex incidents, implement and manage changes, and support enterprise, datacentre, and wireless environments using Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting and operating complex enterprise networks.
Experience troubleshooting high‑impact incidents and restoring services quickly.
Proven ability to work in ITIL-driven managed services with end‑to‑end ownership of incidents, problems and changes.
Strong communication skills to engage customers and stakeholders during critical situations.
Demonstrated mindset for automation, scripting, and documentation to improve operations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents across enterprise, datacentre, and wireless environments, ensuring SLAs are met.
Implement and manage network changes, upgrades, and patching in line with ITIL change and problem processes.
Configure, support, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed technologies.
Collaborate with customers, service management, and internal delivery teams, providing clear communication and technical guidance.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
