Optus Enterprise is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in Canberra to join the GTAC Networks team. You will troubleshoot complex incidents across enterprise, data centre, and wireless environments, implement changes, and support networks using Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networks.
• Experience in ITIL-driven managed services environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot high-impact network incidents.
• Strong communication with customers and stakeholders during critical situations.
• Automation, scripting and documentation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents across enterprise, data centre, and wireless environments, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Implement and manage network changes, upgrades, and patching per ITIL change and problem processes.
• Configure, support, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed technologies.
• Collaborate with customers, service management, and internal delivery teams with clear communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, and documentation.
