Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and improve enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-site technology environment in Australia. The role spans both IT and OT networks with responsibilities for day-to-day support and key infrastructure projects.

You’ll work across switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and cloud connectivity while collaborating with internal teams, partners and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing network

Qualifications

4+ years of network engineering, infrastructure engineering or similar role.
Strong enterprise networking fundamentals across LAN, WAN, wireless.
Experience with security technologies including VPNs and firewalls.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF and segmentation.
Experience across multi-site environments and WAN connectivity.
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, firewalls and VPNs.
Support connectivity across multiple sites and operational environments.
Monitor performance, availability, capacity and security; perform root-cause analysis.
Support Azure networking and connectivity across cloud and hosted environments.
Deliver infrastructure projects, upgrades and lifecycle activities.
Maintain standards, diagrams and procedures; contribute to security and compliance.
Work with providers and partners; identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Provide guidance and share knowledge across the technology team.
Participate in incident response and after-hours support when required.
