Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and support secure enterprise network infrastructure across a government environment. You will work with Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies, and integrate AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud networking to deliver resilient network services.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise networking experience with Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies, including routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs.
• Strong network monitoring, troubleshooting, automation and scripting capabilities across high-availability environments.
• Experience delivering cloud networking solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless and data centre network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and load balancers across complex network environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise network performance, applying automation, scripting and security best practices.
