Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd in Canberra, ACT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and support secure enterprise networks across an Australian Government environment. You will work with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies, including cloud networking with AWS and Azure, on-site in ACT or Tasmania.

NV1 clearance is required; initial 6-month contract with extensions up to 3x12 months. This is an on-site contract opportunity with extension options.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise networking experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet and Palo Alto.
• Strong DNS/DHCP, VPN, IP addressing, firewalls and routing knowledge.
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS and Azure.
• Certs CCNP/CCIE desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, data centre and wireless networks.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and VPNs.
• Improve network performance and security across on-premises, AWS and Azure.
• Prepare RFQ requirements and conduct evaluations.
