Client 1 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (Infrastructure) to support secure, enterprise-scale network infrastructure in a highly controlled environment. The role focuses on design validation, implementation, testing, operation and continuous improvement of complex services across a large ICT estate.

You will work with architects, project teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient networks. A current TSPV clearance is required, and the position is onsite in ACT with a 12-month

Qualificações

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in network engineering or network administration within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, architectures and topologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and routing protocols.
• Experience with enterprise switching, VLANs, WANs, security technologies and wireless networking.

Responsabilidades

• Support Network Architects in developing and refining network architectures and designs.
• Validate network solutions against business, operational, security and performance requirements.
• Develop implementation plans, build specifications and technical documentation.
• Plan and execute network testing activities: functional, integration, performance, resilience, security.
• Support transition of network services into production with documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors and stakeholders through design, build and deployment lifecycle.
• Lead network planning activities within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Analyse and resolve complex network engineering issues.
• Manage LAN/WAN installation, upgrades, operation and maintenance.
• Undertake network installations and infrastructure upgrades as required.
