Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to deliver the networking for a major office relocation, focusing on Cisco switching, routing, Wi‑Fi and Palo Alto firewalls. The role requires onsite attendance in Sydney.

This contract is 6 months, with potential two 6‑month extensions, and requires NV1 clearance. You will design, install and maintain enterprise‑grade infrastructure and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ IT infrastructure and networking experience.
• Strong Cisco switching, routing, IP networking and Wi‑Fi expertise.
• Experience with Palo Alto Next‑Generation Firewalls.
• Office relocation experience desirable.

Deliver network infrastructure for a major Sydney office relocation, covering Cisco switching, routing, Wi‑Fi and Palo Alto firewalls. This senior role requires onsite attendance in Sydney.

Contract Duration: 6 months, with possible 2 x 6-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1

Essential Tasks

• Design and implement network infrastructure for a new Sydney office.

Key Criteria

• Minimum 5 years’ IT infrastructure and networking experience.
• Strong Cisco switching, routing, IP networking, Wi‑Fi and fibre optic expertise.
• CCNA certification and experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks, with office relocation experience desirable.
